It's Dangerous to go Alone
"It's Dangerous to go alone" features a fully rendered katana viewed from several different angles. It was the studio's first work to be featured on Blender Nation. The work demonstrates an attention to detail with its textures, most prominently with the sharpness of the blade and the design of the hilt.
The talented artist Hyuman allowed permission to use his track to showcase the model. The track itself is a soothing melody that adds a needed element to the scene.
We used a decorative katana as reference for this work. We took creative liberty to transform the reference material into a more creative and personal piece.
*We formatted the video to fit phone screens to showcase on several websites.

Procedural Plant Growth
Blender 3.0 was released with a new feature utilizing geometry nodes. The publishing company Packt distributed several early copies of their textbook: "Procedural 3D Modeling Using Geometry Nodes in Blender" for early review. Not only did Flatfoot Studio get selected for an early copy, but our work was also featured on their LinkedIn page.
Because the model was made procedurally, the artist has full control. The plant can be grown with more leaves or a longer stem with a few simple clicks. The process is more akin to programming than it is to standard modeling.
